CARE Program

The Certification Achieved Recognition Earned (CARE) Program is a simple way of acknowledging the skills of hard working healthcare professionals and saying thank you for keeping your patients safe.

The Virtual Monitor role is not only a critical role for the hospital but it can be both challenging and rewarding.

Your compassionate, calm and confidence presence is reassuring to patients and family members that they are being looked out for and kept safe even when 1:1 bedside support is not possible.

You are also enabling more bedside attention with limited resources. This is a huge factor in

minimizing team burnout and overall patient safety.

In recognition of your contributions, we are pleased to share a small token based on your level of experience and performance.

Level I

You have hit some significant milestones in your role as a Virtual Monitor.

Specifically, you have:

  • Completed five or more full shifts

  • Recorded 100 or more Prevented Events

  • Completed your Competency Review Form

               (signed by management)

These are all great examples of the core mission

of the virtual monitor to help keep patients safe.

In recognition of that, we would like to share with you a small acknowledgment.

Thank you for your hard work and focus on

patient safety!
